Nice Collective boots.

Just got them today. Fabulous. Another luxury "badge" some would say - I say these boots will last for another 75 years. Amortized over time - well made products cost much less than cheap, poorly made ones. So, don't feel bad when you buy something that costs more (but is well made)...it is an investment.

Same thing when it comes to your brand - quality doesn't cost - it pays.

I have seen many great brands with cheap (or at least cheap looking) creative. Look at the new Prada perfume ads - I mean - what is going on there? First of all - it is in Italian, French and English. Secondly, the type design is - dare I say - (yes say it!) fucked. We will be in touch with them. To see Prada exposed to this is a travesty.

Here is another meaningful old-school saying:  "Stand for something or fall for anything."

What do you stand for? Do you stand for anything? Are you your own person, or an amalgalm of mocked attributes and attitudes? Do you have anything of your own to say, or are you just a walking, talking mimeograph?
