I said to the sun - "good morning sun!"

| |
I came across this music while listening to my local standards station, WHLI am. Last week I posted deep, dark, trippy dubstep of Burial - this is the polar opposite. Burial is foggy London at 4AM, Julian Yeo is Coney Island on the 4th of July around the time when Teddy Roosevelt was president.

I love the innocence of this music.

Julian has a Doctorate and is a professor here in NY at the Columbia School of Business. I expected the voice to look like Dr. Doolittle but Julian Yeo is a young Asian-American.

Your musical tastes can never be too broad. As a creative person, I feel it is essential to keep expanding your musical tastes. As I mentioned about a year ago, listening to the same music (stylistically) is akin to eating the same food everyday - or never trying sushi. It is selling yourself short.

In any case, the song below is only 1:27, so you can handle it. Buy it on iTunes for .99 US.
